Privacy Policy

Shibumi is a free fitting tool. We do not create accounts, collect names, emails, or any personally identifiable information.

Anonymous analytics — We use Vercel Analytics to count pageviews and understand which features people use. This data is aggregated and anonymous. No cookies are set for tracking purposes.

That's it. We have no user database, no login system, and no server-side storage of your fitting inputs.

Two pieces of data live in your browser only — they never leave your device:

• My Bag (localStorage) — clubs you save persist between visits so your bag is still there when you come back. Clear your browser storage at any time to wipe it.
• Fit Results (sessionStorage) — your most recent fitting is held in session storage to pass recommendations between the fitting quiz and results page. It disappears when you close the tab.

Neither of these is ever transmitted to our servers.

Affiliate links — Some "BUY" links on the site are affiliate links. When you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked and use rel="sponsored". We only link to equipment we'd actually recommend.

Vercel Analytics — Our analytics provider. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for how they handle aggregated data.

Retailer sites you visit through affiliate links have their own privacy policies — we have no control over those.
